Grand Hôtel Barrière
The “Hôtel de Dinard” was built in 1859 bordering the “Grande Rue”, and was the first hotel in this new resort on the Emerald Coast. It later became the “Grand Hôtel de Dinard”.
Facing the Saint-Malo ramparts and overlooking the sea, near the beaches and the Casino, the Grand Hôtel of Dinard stands out with its majestic Second Empire architecture. This prestigious Haussmann-style establishment is also the oldest hotel in Dinard still in activity. It was renovated in 1998 under the direction of Jacques Garcia, the interior decorator for the Lucien Barrière Group. The palace was able to maintain its historic heritage while simultaneously introducing some well-being, elegant and modern aspects.
